Indoor Leisure Centre with 3 swimming pools and a water slide. There is a viewing area and coffee shop for family members who would prefer to view rather than swim. We have a special family rate for Carleton village guests visiting Aura. Youghal Greyhound Track Youghal Greyhound Track offers a dynamic and exciting night out for the whole family. Races are held every Tuesday and Friday Night. During the summer months entry is free every Tuesday, light refreshments are available throughout the night. Jameson Distillery Trace the history of the Uisce Beatha, the Irish whiskey brewed in Midleton since 1825. Visitors can see the largest pot still in the world. All visits culminate with an a whiskey tasting session in the bar. Fota Wildlife Park Come face to face with over 90 species of exotic wildlife - an absolute must for all the family. The park is set on 70 acres of open countryside with many of the species roaming freely around the park. Cross Country Safari Take an all terrain vehicle and drive through a specially designed cross country course which runs through a working livestock farm. Promises driving fun for all ages! Blarney Castle This historic castle is most famous for its Stone, which has the traditional power of conferring eloquence on all who kiss it. Perks Bowling Situated near Carleton Resort, a fantastic bowling facility guaranteeing fun for all the family. Perks also offer funfair amusements, great for the not so sunny days. Ballymaloe Country House & Cookery School Ballymaloe is a large country house on a 400 acre farm in east Cork. Family run, on the family farm. Award winning restaurant and cafe. For a very special evening Ballymaloe is a must. Ballymaloe House is only a 20 minute drive from Carleton Village. Shanagarry Pottery The Stephen Pierce run world renowned Shanagarry Pottery has built an international reputation. You can visit the sudios of Stephen's which are just a 20 minute drive from Carleton Village. |
